Nature-Based Learning

Nature-Based Learning at The Walnut Barn

Welcome to The Walnut Barn, where learning comes to life in the heart of nature. Our unique educational experiences, held at Rosuick Organic Farm in Cornwall, offer children and individuals the opportunity to engage directly with the natural world. Whether through school visits, small group sessions, or bespoke experiences tailored for individuals with additional needs, we believe that nature is the most powerful classroom.

Why Nature-Based Learning?

In today’s digital age, reconnecting with nature is more important than ever. Nature-based learning goes beyond conventional classroom teaching by immersing students in real-world experiences. It fosters curiosity, well-being, and a deeper understanding of sustainability and ecological principles. Through hands-on activities, exploration, and interactive workshops, our sessions help learners develop critical thinking skills and a lasting appreciation for the environment.
